FTiH – Partnership Proposal Submitted
Today, Sunday 27th November 2016, our partnership proposal has been submitted to the diocese Forward Together in Hope team which reflects the proposed partnership blueprint of Blyth, Cowpen, New Hartley, Cramlington & Annitsford.
We would like to thank all of you who provided input & comment to this vital phase.
At the earliest opportunity, a copy will be emailed out to St. John’s distribution list as well as being displayed on the web site/social media and displayed at the back of church.
Sorry one is not displayed now, but at the time of writing this bulletin, there may be last minute change requests that would have to be addressed.
As you will have read on the front page of this bulletin there is to be an open parish council meeting on the 4th December after Mass – we will take the opportunity to discuss openly the proposal.
Events for You … Please get involved if you have time
TODAY – PLEASE FEEL FREE TO JOIN US … Sunday 27th November - Northumberland Deanery Workshop at 12:30pm - St. Aidan’s, Ashington
We NEED YOUR HELP (as always :) - All are invited – families too as this ‘activity’ is for all ages and we really would like to make it a family affair. Your task – if you should accept it - will be to assemble a large number of small gifts to be blessed & distributed at the Christmas Masses in our deanery.
Remember ‘Many hands make light work’ so please come along if you can and help us continue building our communities and reaching out to all.
The afternoon will include a time of prayer and as we reflect on forming new parish partnerships, it’s also a chance to meet people from other local parishes. If sou can, please also bring something for a shared food table.

We will then process with candles to St. Mary’s for a homily and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.
