Overview of what the children discussed, agreed and actioned.

• 1. Journals

  2. The journals were blessed during Mass and were distributed to our young people for them to capture their thoughts and ideas.

  3. Father’s Day Mass – 19^th June 2016

  4. Our young people will play an active part in the liturgy – Names provided for prayers

  5. Hymns discussed and requests have been made for “Lord of the Dance” and “Colours of Day” to be sung during the mass. AP Kathryn to do liturgy and update Choir of Hymns

  6. Arrangements have been made for Marquees to be put on the lawn and over the front of Hall. AP Jerry to oversee

  7. Shared Table for all to enjoy after mass

  8. Activities family fun – Splat the Clown, Tug-of-War, team games AP Kathryn/Jerry to purchase equipment i.e. bat ball hoops skipping ropes & Liaise with Lisa Nevens with regards to activities

  9. Tombola/Raffle – Older children to run with help and supervision of adults AP jerry and Kathryn to help canvass for donations

  10. Invitations/flyers will be distributed over the next few weeks and publicised on FaceBook/website AP Kathryn & Jerry

  11. Fund Raising

  12. Our young people are to make & sell cakes and do raffles after masses Sunday 5^th & 12^th June

  13. Corporal Acts of Mercy

  14. Our Young people have been asked to assist with the Diocesan Refugee Project and collect donations of tins of tuna and meat, toiletries, sweet biscuits, cooking oil and men shoes

  15. Our young people have been asked to help out if they can at the Mass for the Sick/Handicapped on Saturday 2^nd July

  16. Family/Parish Trip to Holy Island – 10^th July 2016

  17. Bus to depart after 9.30 mass – 10.45ish

  18. Picnic/BBQ on Beach 12.30pm

  19. Fun and Games 13.45 – 14.45

  20. Relax and Socialise 16.00

  21. Return to coach 17.30

  22. Fish & Chips -Seahouses on route home
