ADVENT – During Advent, starting Wed. 25th Nov. and the following 3 Wednesday's, Kathleen Dawson will be leading an Advent gospel reflection at 2.30pm in the Parish Hall Anyone requiring transport, please contact Kathleen on 0191 2667775
COFFEE AFTERNOONS – The next two Coffee Afternoons will be held on Thursday 10th Dec. and Thursday 14th Jan. 2016 at 1.30pm. These are open to ALL, Please come along.

St. John’s Youth Mass + Blue Reef Aquarium Trip
The children have asked for another Youth Mass as well as an outing ... so not to disappoint ... YOU are ALL invited to ...
Youth Mass at St. John’s on Sunday 22nd November at the 9.30am Mass.
After Mass we will have refreshments in the hall before going on to the Blue Reef Aquarium. Transport will be provided and entry is for ALL children and accompanying adults.
It would be lovely to see you there and your support would be very much appreciated. If you have any children that want to take part in the Mass and go to the Blue Reef Aquarium please contact Kathryn Maggs (07540065414).

Your Northumberland Deanery Invites You To
An Advent Day of Reflection – ‘An Advent Day with Mary’
SATURDAY 5th DECEMBER 2015 from 11AM-3PM
At St Cuthbert's Parish Centre, 40 Walkergate, Berwick, TD15 1DJ
Led by Kathryn Turner, Head of the diocesan Department for Spirituality, the day will include prayer, shared Advent reflection centred on Mary and a prayer walk (with the option of an indoor virtual prayer walk) followed by mince pies!
Coach transport will be available, picking up from parishes across Northumberland.
There is a list at the back of church for you to put you name down for the coach transport. The cost will be £8 per person. For more details please see Jerry Laidler ( 07801452372)
Forward Together in Hope – Reviewing Our Answers – As part of St. John’s FTiH process, we are now in a position to start the review cycle of our answers that we have collated to the FTiH questionnaire before we submit our final version at the end of November. Therefore, starting today, and for the next 3 Sundays, Jerry Laidler will be in the church hall after Mass to present Parts A & B of the completed questionnaire. All are Welcome.
