CAFOD

CAFOD is the Catholic Agency for Overseas Development. It is the official overseas aid agency of the Catholic Church in England and Wales. In more than 40 countries across the world and through more than 500 projects, it brings hope, compassion and solidarity to poor communities, standing side by side with them to end poverty and injustice.

CAFOD helps people according to their need, regardless of their race, religion, gender or politics.

The charity draws inspiration from scripture, Catholic Social Teaching and the experiences and hopes of people who are poor.

All at StJohns – led by the YPC – are supporting CAFOD in their endeavours.
