PARISH VISITATION – We welcome Bishop Seamus Cunningham to our parish today Sun. 13th May 2018.

PARISH COUNCIL – The Parish Council will be meeting today (Sunday 13th May 2018) in the Presbytery Dining Room following the 9.30am Mass.

CAKE SALE – Our Youth Group will be fund raising with a cake sale after Mass today, please give them your support.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNIONS – Next Sunday (20th May '18) will be the First Holy Communions for St. John's children.

PARTNERSHIP DAY OF REFLECTION – Saturday 9th June at the Sacred Heart, North Gosforth. Please see additional information on the Notice board. Please add your name to one of the lists at the back of church.

PARKING – It is extremely important that you read the notice in the church porch.

GARDEN OF REMEMBRANCE – The possibility of this going ahead is to be discussed further by the Parish Council.

COFFEE AFTERNOONS – The next two Coffee Afternoons will be on Thurs 14th June & 12th July 2018 at 1.30pm. These are open to ALL, not just parishioners, Please come along and invite a friend and/or your neighbour.

CARAVAN PARKING PLANNING APPLICATION – Current position – please see information in the porch.

GARDENERS – Two of our gardeners have retired because of ill health. We are desperate for two replacements, can anyone spare a couple of hours, it doesn't have to be every week.

YPC Cake Sale Sunday 13th May 2018

St Johns YPC will be hosting a Cake Sale on Sunday 13th May straight after mass, outside of church (weather permitting!) Any donations of Cakes, Scones or Biscuits will be greatly appreciated.

YPC Raffle Sunday 13th May 2018

As well as the Cake Sale YPC will be running a small raffle before and after mass, prizes include bottles of wine and chocolates. Tickets will be 50p a strip and will be drawn in the Church Hall after Mass- Good Luck!i

YPC Family Fun Day Planning Meeting Wednesday 30th May 2018 2pm

We would like to invite all children to come and meet in the Church Hall at 2pm on Wednesday 30th May. We will be discussing the Fun Day stalls, prizes, who can help on the day and to run through any other ideas the children may have.

We would like the children to design a poster advertising the Fun Day so we can start advertising the event in the local area. Sweets and Refreshments will be supplied!

Family Fun Day Meeting Sunday 3rd June 2018 10.30am

The next planning meeting will be held in the hall on Sunday 3rd June after Mass. If you can attend or you are able to give help in any way on the day of the Fun Day it would be greatly appreciated. There are lots of fun stalls, events etc. planned and it should be a fantastic day!

The more help we have the more fun we will have! Thank you!

Please can we appeal for Tombola donations no matter how big or small, please leave these in the box labelled ‘Tombola’ in the porch, please do not confuse this with the Refugee Project Box.

YPC Fathers Day Craft Afternoon Saturday 16th June 2018 2pm-4pm

All children are invited to join us in the Chruch Hall for a fun filled afternoon. We will be working together to make special gifts in prepartion for Fathers Day, there will be juice and hot dogs available.This will be a fun and relaxed afteroon, we hope you can make it- children can be dropped off and collected for the times above, we hope to see you there!
