Welcome Fall!

Things To Know: 

*We have snacks.  We can always use more.  Any donations of Sea Salt Veggie Straws would be greatly appreciated.  

 *Please continue to encourage your child to read, read, read.  Books are great to grab before getting in the car.

*Make sure you visit the calendar at the end of the newsletter.  There is always something going on in the Swamp.  Please be sure to check emails, Take Home folders and the school calendar.  It is that time of year.

*The cafeteria is taking visitors again!  If you would like to have lunch with your child, please sign in at the office before coming to the cafeteria.  Second grade lunch is from 12:00 - 12:30.

What we are learning:

Reading/Language Arts:  Monitoring their understanding when reading by asking and answering questions

Math:  Identifying coins and their values 

Science:  Wind and water energy on the earth

Social Studies:  Identifying city ,state and national governments leaders and their roles and responsibilities
