We are so excited to start this school year with you!

This week: We learned classroom procedures and routines and learned about our classmates and teachers!
Math

This week: We reviewed classroom procedures, participated in math chats and conversation using warm up problems, and got to play get to know you games!
Science
Science
This Week : We learned about the invention of paper and how we use it today. We started our science journals by explaining our guidelines for the year and decorating our cover pages.
Next Week : We will conduct out first experiment of the year about the physical states of matter (solids, liquids, and gases) and how they can be changed by changing their temperature.
Social Studies
Social Studies
This Week : We reviewed class norms, wrote and signed our essential agreement, and got to know each other.
Next Week : We will begin our week one newspaper introducing Texas regions and characteristics.
