Fort Friday - November 21st
Students have been working hard at learning and managing behavior and have earned their first FORT FRIDAY!! All fourth grade students are encouraged to bring sheets, blankets, pillows, and wear PJs. They will get to construct forts with tables/chairs in their homeroom classrooms using their sheets and blankets etc. During the day, students will still have work and reading to do, but it is just so much more fun in a fort!

Growth Mindset - Perfectionism Doesn't Exist
As the cartoon indicates below, which step have you reached today? It's a good reminder that no one can be 100% growth-minded all of the time. We all have moments where we slip into that fixed mindset, where we doubt ourselves, and where we want to give up. Understanding a growth mindset allows you to become more aware when you've slipped into that fixed place so that you can work to get yourself out of it! We've also found that continually working on a growth mindset seems to lessen how often you have your fixed-minded moments!
