Please join us in giving a warm Gator welcome to a familiar face taking on an exciting new role at our school: Mrs. Arnold, our new librarian!

Many of you will remember Mrs. Arnold, who spent 11 wonderful years teaching 3rd Grade and Kindergarten right here at Glenhope. For the past six years, she has been enriching her experience in the world of virtual education, teaching 4th grade and working with educators to help them thrive. After 18 years in education, she is returning to her Glenhope home to lead our library.

Mrs. Arnold shared that being a librarian has always been her dream job. “I am excited to inspire young minds to get lost in reading,” she says. “The library is a special place that allows all students to find a place they belong and something they're interested in.” She is also looking forward to partnering with teachers to integrate purposeful technology into their lessons and inviting families into the library to join their student’s reading adventure.

When she isn't diving into a good book, Mrs. Arnold can be found chasing her two littles to all their extracurricular activities, traveling, attending sporting events, going to the movies, and spending time with her family.

The Arnold family’s roots run deep in our community. Not only is she a Gator through and through, but she is also a proud Gator mom to Cooper, who is starting 2nd Grade, and Mary Claire, who will be in 1st Grade. Her husband is the athletic coordinator and a history teacher at CTMS and can often be found on the sidelines at GHS games, with the whole family cheering on our Mustangs!

Mrs. Arnold is deeply dedicated to our Glenhope community and is committed to making sure our students “feel loved, inspired and plugged into their Elementary career.”
