Second Grade is the Best!

Things To Know: 

*Please make sure that you have filled out all the permission forms for clubs, counseling and first aid.  These forms can be found online.

*We will be holding Fall conferences soon. This will give us an opportunity to discuss results from BOY testing and answer any questions or concerns you may have.

*If your child has finished iReady Diagnostic testing, their results can be seen online.  There is a letter in their folders on how to access that information.  A hard copy of the information will be sent home on Friday, September 12.  

*Thank you to all the parents for donating snacks to our classrooms.  With a later lunch, we will go through them quickly.

*Another thank you for the class donations from our class Wishlists on Amazon.  The children will benefit from your generosity.  Please continue to check for new items added to our lists.

What we are learning:

Reading/Language Arts:  Informational text and central idea

Math: Place value and ordering numbers.

Science: Properties of matter.

Social Studies:  Members of a community follow rules.
