Last week we completed our MOY i-Ready assessments. This week we will be reviewing skills and enjoying some holiday spirit. Tomorrow we will rotate through classrooms to celebrate holidays around the world. 

We began our Geometry and Fractions unit. We will be identifying properties of 2D and 3D shapes as well as irregular shapes. Our study of fractions will focus on halves, fourths and fair shares.

In literacy, we are using skills practice with some holiday themed stories and activities. We are working on retelling, ABC order, comprehension with text evidence while still working on high frequency words and handwriting.

We will have our holiday parties Wednesday at 12:30. The children chose their games, treats and activities this year. They had a great time and are looking forward to enjoying their parties. 

Last Wednesday we had a great time with our auction winners for the Gingerbread House party. They each invited a friend and had fun getting creative.
