SUNDAY, October 18, 2020 29TH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

PRIEST: With trust in God’s love and care for all his creatures, let us bring our needs before the Lord.

1. For leaders of the church, in joy may they dedicate their lives to serving God in truth and to caring for his people, especially the most vulnerable, we pray to the Lord.

2. For governments of the world, may they serve their people with integrity and honesty, we pray to the Lord.

3. For those burdened by financial hardship, may they be given opportunities and assistance in supporting themselves and their families, we pray to the Lord.

4. For all gathered here, may we steward our gifts of time, talent, and treasure to build up the church of God and to help those in need, we pray to the Lord.

5. For the sick and dying of our parish family, may they be nourished and comforted by medical professionals and their caregivers, we pray to the Lord.

6. For those who have passed on, may they take their place at the eternal feast in the kingdom of God, especially Maria Mona Do,we pray to the Lord.

Here’s what’s happening in our Parish:

· On the weekend of October 24th and 25th, the Knights of Columbus will be conducting a fund-raising drive to support those in the Diocese with intellectual disabilities. Knights will be standing outside after all the Masses to receive your donations. The donations will go to support Special Olympics, Camp ReCreation, a day where those with intellectual disabilities are celebrated and their caregivers are given a day off, and other programs. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

· Our next Healing Mass is Monday, October 26 starting at 6:30PM with Praise and Worship, and Mass at 7PM.

· Mass of Remembrance is on Saturday, November 7th at 9AM. If you have family member who passed away in 2020 and would like to participate in our in our Mass of Remembrance. Please call Parish Office for more details.
