SUNDAY, APRIL 18, 2021 THIRD SUNDAY OF EASTER

PRIEST: Today’s psalm proclaims that the Lord “does wonders for his faithful one.” Confident that God knows our needs even before we speak them, let us place our petitions before the Lord.

1. For bishops, priests and deacons, may their ministries be characterized by fidelity to the truth and humble service of the lowly, we pray to the Lord.

2. For leaders of nations, may they work together to put an end to torture and inhumane acts against prisoners and captives, we pray to the Lord.

3. For those in troubled marriages, may the peace of the Lord bring about reconciliation and understanding, we pray to the Lord.

4. For all gathered here, in the light of the resurrection may we be renewed in joy and hope, we pray to the Lord.

5. For the sick and dying in our parish, may God bless them as they work to overcome the challenges before them, we pray to the Lord.

6. For our beloved dead, may they come to dwell in the house of the Lord, especially Nguyen Thi Thuy Nhung, we pray to the Lord.
