SUNDAY, January 17, 2021 2ND SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
PRIEST: Trusting in the limitless compassion of our God and his care for all of creation, let us bring our needs and the needs of the world before him
1. For the church throughout the world, in prayer and worship may it listen for the voice of God calling it to fidelity and holiness, we pray to the Lord.
2. For all who serve as teachers and educators, may they be inspired to provide the best instruction, care and support to their pupils, we pray to the Lord.
3. For all who are seeking employment, may they find meaningful work and a just wage to support themselves and their families, we pray to the Lord.
4. For all gathered here, by encountering Jesus, the Messiah, in word and sacrament, may we be emboldened to follow where he leads, we pray to the Lord.
5. For the sick and dying of our parish family, may they be nourished and comforted by medical professionals and their caregivers, we pray to the Lord.
6. For those who have passed away, may they take their place at the eternal feast in the kingdom of God, especially Joseph Tien Dinh, Lucia Lan Nguyen, Lucia Se Phung, Robert Velazquez, Jose DeJesu Ramirez, Petra Holquin, we pray to the Lord.

Here’s what’s happening in our Parish:
· Due to recent lack of attendees on Fridays, we are temporarily suspending the 24-hour Adoration on Fridays, until we can get more attendees to sign up. We are in great need of attendees between midnight and 5am. If you would like to sign up, please contact the Parish Office.
· In observance of Martin Luther King Holiday, Parish and Faith Formation offices will be closed on Monday, January 18th and reopen on Tuesday, January 19th at 9am. Masses will be as normal.
· Join us for 200 Hail Marys for the unborn on Friday, January 22nd after 9am mass in English and 6pm mass in Vietnamese.
· Healing Mass is on Monday, January 25th starting at 6pm with Praise & Worship and Mass at 6:30pm.
· Adult Confirmation class will begin on Sunday, January 31st from 3pm to 5:30pm.
