UNIVERSAL PRAYER

PRIEST: God our Father never tires of hearing our prayers, and delights in us asking for his help. We bring our needs before him.

1) For Pope Francis and all who preach the Gospel, may the Holy Spirit give them courage and humility in their proclamation of the Good News, we pray to the Lord.

2) For leaders of government, may the Lord grant them perseverance in doing what is right and just for their constituents, we pray to the Lord

3) For those who face adversity, suffering or severe illness, and for those who love and care for them, we pray to the Lord.

4) For all the members of our parish family, that once we choose to follow Jesus, we will leave all and follow Him in the Stewardship Way of Life, we pray to the Lord.

5) For Phong Nguyen as he begins his ministry as a deacon, may the Holy Spirit continue to be his inspiration, we pray to the Lord.

6) For our beloved dead may they be welcomed into God's heavenly

presence with the saints and angels, especially Loan Nguyen, ______________, we pray to the Lord.

On the patio today:

1. Extra Ordinary Ministers of Holy Communion. Stop by and sign up to help at the Mass you attend.

· PHOlicious and FV Pizza D’Z Dine out event will be the last week of each month. This month enjoy delicious food and support Our Lady of Grace Pastoral Center from October 19^th through October 27^th.

· Next Sunday is the Annual Pennies from Heaven Campaign. Please donate your coins and dollars in the bottles provided at any church exit. Proceeds support the Orange County clinics and shelters that meet the needs of mothers and babies in crisis programs.

· Don’t miss Holy Spirit’s annual Vocations Banquet. It will be on Saturday, November 9^th. Get your tickets in the Parish Office.

· Envelopes to remember your deceased loved ones at All Souls Day Masses and all Masses during the month of November are in the pews or in the basket by the Baptismal font. Drop in the collection or bring to the Parish Office.

· On Tuesday, October 29^th from 5pm until 7:30pm bring your children in costume to the family friendly event of Trunk or Treat. More information is on the Faith Formation page of the bulletin.
