SUNDAY, March 15, 2020 3rd SUNDAY OF LENT

PRIEST: In Jesus we find the living water that quenches the deepest thirsting of our souls. With gratitude for this gift and trust in God’s love, let us bring our needs before the Lord.

1. For pastors and pastoral ministers within the church, may their love of Christ and devotion to God’s people grow with each passing day, we pray and sing to the Lord.

2. For nations of the world fractured by the sins of racism, segregation, and prejudice, may the Lord of life lead the way to healing and inclusion, we pray and sing to the Lord.

3. For those who are suffering in the current outbreak of sickness that they might be healed, and for the happy repose of all who have died from this sickness in recent weeks, we pray and sing to the Lord.

4. That through our Baptism, we share in the mission of Christ by making a pledge to the PSA, we pray and sing to the Lord.

5. That those in our parish community who are nearing death be consoled and supported in their transition from earthly life, we pray and sing to the Lord.

6. That God’s kindness be upon those have died and have put their hope in him, especially ___________________, we pray and sing to the Lord.

Here’s what’s happening in our Parish:

On the Patio this weekend:

1. Selp Help Interfaith Program (SHIP)

· All Faith Formation classes and retreats are cancelled temporarily.

· Lenten Parish Mission scheduled for Tuesday, March 17 is cancelled.

· Lenten Tri-lingual Penance Service is Wednesday, March 18^th is cancelled. Confessions will be heard at the regular scheduled times.

· Holy Spirit will host the Self-Help Interfaith on March 28 to April 12. This means volunteers are needed to provide meals, supplies, bus passes and donations to help support this program that serves homeless, employable adults. Please stop by the table on the patio to sign-up to help out, make a donation and receive more information.
