SUNDAY, February 9, 2020 5^th SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

PRIEST: Trusting in God’s promises and faithfulness, we bring our needs and the needs of our world before the Lord.

1. For God’s holy church, that in serving the homeless, poor and oppressed it may live up to Jesus’ call to be salt and light for the world, we pray to the Lord.

2. For leaders of nations, may they work to end social and economic inequality based on race, religion and gender, we pray to the Lord.

3. For those who have been falsely accused and unjustly imprisoned, may justice and truth prevail, we pray to the Lord.

4. For all gathered here around the table of the Lord, may we be empowered to practice radical hospitality toward everyone we meet, we pray to the Lord.

5. For the sick and dying of our parish, may they be comforted in God’s caring love, we pray to the Lord.

6. For our beloved dead, may they come to dwell in the house of the Lord, especially ___________________, we pray to the Lord.

Here’s what’s happening in our Parish:

· Join us for a Healing Mass Tuesday, February 18^th with Fr. Wayne and Deacon Steve Greco. Praise and worship begins at 6:30pm and Mass is at 7:00pm.

· The Ministry of Greeters is need of volunteers for all Masses. Please consider helping at the Mass you regularly attend.

· Parish offices will be closed for President’s Day from Saturday, February 15^th and will reopen Tuesday, February 18^th. 6:30am and 9:00am Masses as usual with the campus closing at noon.
