SUNDAY, December 27, 2020 THE HOLY FAMILY OF

JESUS, MARY & JOSEPH

PRIEST: As beloved sons and daughters of God, let us bring our needs and the needs of the world before the Lord.

1. For the family of the universal church, by putting on the compassion, kindness and humility of Christ, may we be united in all that we do, we pray to the Lord.

2. For leaders of nations, may they receive wisdom and clarity in making decisions and implementing policies to support the most vulnerable, we pray to the Lord.

3. For all those who have been harmed by domestic violence and abuse, may God’s love heal and strengthen their bodies, minds and souls, we pray to the Lord.

4. For all gathered here, in our prayer and work may we carry the light of Christ to all those we meet, we pray to the Lord.

5. For the sick of our parish and those who have no one to pray for them, may they be comforted in God’s caring love, we pray to the Lord.

6. For our beloved dead, may they come to dwell in the house of the Lord, especially Luz Loebig, Marie Therese Angela Truong Ngoc Dung, Marcella Sakert, Antoine Linh Phu Hoang, Anton Victor Do, Maria Hien Thi Giang, Maria Vivian Van Pham, we pray to the Lord.

Here’s what’s happening in our Parish:

· Parish Office will be closed on Thursday, December 31st at 12pm noon and reopen on Monday, January 4th at 9am. All Masses will be as normal.

· Adoration for January will be on Monday, January 4th after 9am Mass until 6:30am Mass on Tuesday, January 5th.

· The Knights of Columbus are sponsoring a Parish Blood Drive on Sunday January 10th in Doyle Hall from 9:30am to 3:30pm. The need for blood is severe. Signup information is in the bulletin, the Parish web site and Facebook page.

· Join the Bereavement Ministry and journey in faith with our parish families and assist them in preparing the Celebration of Life as they remember and honor their loved ones. Please contact the Parish Office if you would like to join this Ministry.
