SUNDAY, March 8, 2020 2nd SUNDAY OF LENT

PRIEST: Nourished and strengthened by the word of God, let us bring our needs, and the needs of our world, before the Lord.

Lector please remember Cantor will sing first

1. For members of the church throughout the world, may we be attuned to the voice of God calling us to fullness of life, we pray and sing to the Lord.

2. That as leaders of nations consider how to build up their own countries, may they also commit to helping those stricken by natural disasters, disease and poverty, we pray and sing to the Lord.

3. That victims of the coronavirus, their caregivers, medical professionals and researchers find strength and wisdom to conquer this illness, we pray and sing to the Lord.

4. That as we respond to God’s call to be generous stewards, we reflect on all the good fruits that come from our giving to the Pastoral Services Appeal, we pray and sing to the Lord.

5. That those in our parish community who are nearing death be consoled and supported in their transition from earthly life, we pray and sing to the Lord.
