SUNDAY, JANUARY 3, 2021 THE EPIPHANY OF THE LORD

PRIEST: Together with the universal church spread throughout the world, let us turn to our faithful God knowing that he hears and answers the prayers of those in need.

1. For bishops, priests, deacons, religious and lay ministers in pondering the word of God, may they be strengthened to humbly lead the people they serve, we pray to the Lord.

2. For leaders of nations, together may they strive to protect the beauty and the resources of the earth for future generations, we pray to the Lord.

3. For those who suffer from religious persecution throughout the world, may the fruit of inter-religious dialogue and ecumenism lead to safety of worship for all, we pray to the Lord.

4. For all gathered here, may we worship the Lord in truth and eagerly offer him the best of our spiritual and material treasures, we pray to the Lord.

5. For the sick and dying of our parish family, may they be nourished and comforted by medical professionals and their caregivers, we pray to the Lord.

6. For those who have passed on, may they take their place at the eternal feast in the kingdom of God, especially Peter Tam Cong Hoang, we pray to the Lord.
