SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 2018 26TH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
PRIEST: Let us join our hearts and voices in prayer for all God’s sons and daughters.
1. For our Church, may the Spirit of God enable us to speak God’s prophetic word of compassion and justice through our ministries of prayer and service, we pray to the Lord.
2. For world leaders, may the Spirit grant them the means to work toward the alleviation of poverty, hunger and homelessness from the earth, we pray to the Lord.
3. For relief agencies throughout the Eastern United States and around the world, may they have the resources they need to ease the suffering of those they serve, we pray to the Lord.
4. For the sick, the suffering, the recovering, the dying, and all who belong to Christ, may we readily offer them the “cup of water” of compassion and care, we pray to the Lord.
5. For those who have died, may they draw strength and comfort from their faith in the risen Christ, especially Vincent Del Monte, Tuyen Ton Nguyen (Father of Fr. Joseph Son and Catherine Vu), Marciana Advincula,____________________, we pray to the Lord.
