SUNDAY, AUGUST 29, 2021 22ND SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

PRIEST: As children of God, we bring our cares to our loving Father.

1. For Pope Francis, bishops, and all spiritual leaders, may God give them a Spirit of wisdom in their decisions and actions, We pray to the Lord.

2. For the salvation of the world, may the Lord grant mercy to all who have turned away from him and bring them out of darkness into light, We pray to the Lord.

3. For all who are struggling with poor health, mental anguish, or addiction, and for those who care for them, We pray to the Lord.

4. For this faith community, may the Lord help us to embrace those things that endure forever, We pray to the Lord.

5. For all who have died, may they experience fullness of joy with God and the saints in heaven, especially we pray to the Lord.

Here’s what’s happening in our Parish:

· The Knights of Columbus Parish Breakfast is today, August 29 after 8am and 9:30am Masses. Come to Doyle Hall for good food and good company.

· Our monthly anointing of the sick is Friday, September 3rd after 9AM English Mass and 6PM Vietnamese Mass.

· In celebration of Labor Day the Parish and Faith Formation offices will be closed beginning Saturday, August 31st and will reopen on Tuesday, September 3rd. The Church campus will be closed at Noon on Monday, September 2nd. There will be 6:30am and 9am Masses as usual.
