SUNDAY, MARCH 28, 2021 PALM SUNDAY OF THE LORD'S PASSION

PRIEST: During his agony in the garden Jesus prays, “Abba, Father, all things are possible to you.” With childlike faith in the one who has created us, let us bring our needs before the Lord.

1. For God’s holy church, may it preach the good news of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth with humility and love, we pray to the Lord.

2. For victims of violence and discrimination in this country and around the world, may their wounds be healed, and their dignity restored, we pray to the Lord.

3. For the intentions of our Parish Family who participated in this year’s Easter Garden, we pray to the Lord.

4. For all gathered here, may we place our gifts and talents at the service of the Lord and dedicate all we say and do to the glory of God, we pray to the Lord.

5. For the sick of our parish and those who have no one to pray for them, may they be comforted in God’s caring love, we pray to the Lord.

6. For our beloved dead, may they come to dwell in the house of the Lord, especially Phanxico Phuong Dang Nguyen, Gabriel Sean Nguyen, we pray to the Lord.

7. Now let us pause and add our own intentions in silence (pause).

For our needs and those of one another, we pray to the Lord.

PRIEST: God of the poor and the broken, Jesus our savior humbled himself and endured death on a cross. Hear our prayers that this Holy Week we might enter into the paschal mystery anew and be transformed by Christ’s death and resurrection into servants of his merciful love. We ask this through Jesus our Lord. Amen.
