PRIEST: With hearts and spirits opened to God’s healing presence, let us pray.

1. For the ministers of our church and the leaders of nations, that they may proclaim the justice and peace of God without fear or compromise, we pray to the Lord.

2. For our church and our parish community, that our work and worship together may bring healing and hope to our world, we pray to the Lord.

3. For local families in crisis, that God may be present to them in their love for one another and the care and support of family and friends, we pray to the Lord.

4. For the sick and dying of our parish, may the love of a caring Jesus strengthen them as they meet the challenges of pain and suffering, we pray to the Lord.

5. For all the faithful departed, may they join the angels and saints in the heavenly banquet, especially Terry Stevens, Frederic Turcotte, John Allan Hinck, George Trapani, Hua Nguyen, George Pham ___________________________________, we pray to the Lord.

Here’s what’s happening in our Parish:

· Dine-Out for September will be at Claim Jumper beginning today Sunday, September 9th until Thursday, September 13th. Please be sure to bring the flyer in the bulletin to benefit Holy Spirit.

· Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion training is Wednesday, September 12 at 6:45pm in the Sacristy.

· There is a new catechetical series, Walking toward Eternity, beginning this week on Tuesday mornings and next week on Wednesday evenings.

· Respect Life is holding their annual Baby Shower next weekend, September 15 & 16. Please bring any baby items such as diapers, layettes, bottles, clothes, blankets, or cash. Expectant mothers at Casa Teresa, Mary’s Shelter, and Life Center benefit from your donations.
