SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2018 31ST SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
PRIEST: Following the example of Jesus, who sacrificed himself for our sins, we join our voices in prayer as we ask the Father to hear our needs.
1. That church leaders may seek to imitate the compassion and humility of Jesus Christ, the Eternal High Priest, we pray to the Lord.
2. That God’s commandment of love may be at the heart of the laws of all the world’s governments, we pray to the Lord.
3. That the wisdom of God may illuminate our minds, and the Spirit of God enliven our hearts as we cast our votes this week for those who will lead our nation, state, and community, we pray to the Lord.
4. That the sick, the suffering, and the dying may know, in our care and compassion, the healing presence of the risen Jesus, we pray to the Lord.
5. That all who have died may rejoice in the redemption earned for them through the sacrifice of our Lord, especially the victims of the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting and _________________, we pray to the Lord.

· His Hands is accepting donations for Thanksgiving Baskets. Thank you for your generosity.
· The Knights of Columbus are selling Christmas cards and tickets to the Christmas Dinner.
· Volunteers are needed to help make tamales November 7th, 8th , and 9th in Doyle Hall.
· November Healing Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Saul. Deacon Steve Greco will lead the healing service after the Mass.
