SUNDAY, MARCH 17, 2019 2ND SUNDAY OF LENT
PRIEST: Like Abraham, our father in faith, we trust God’s promises and so dare to voice our petitions.
1. For the Church, may she be a reflection of the dazzling face of Jesus, we pray and sing to the Lord.
2. For peace in our world, that the Holy Spirit will manifest, in the hearts of leaders, God’s transforming peace and love, we pray and sing to the Lord.
3. For those in this faith community preparing to be baptized this Easter, may they have a deeper awareness of God’s loving presence in their lives, we pray and sing to the Lord.
4. For the sick and dying of our parish, may they come to know the healing power of Jesus, we pray and sing to the Lord.
5. For those who have died, may they come to share in the fullness of Christ’s glory, especially Trung Cai, Viktoria McKissick, Phuc Nguyen_________________, we pray and sing to the Lord.

Here’s what’s happening in our Parish:
· Peace and Justice is sponsoring 3rd World Gifts on the patio today.
· The Lenten Parish Mission, Walking in the Footsteps of Christ to Calvary with Fr. Jeff Droessler, our former Parochial Vicar, is Monday, March 18th and Tuesday, March 19th. See you there!
· Our Penance Services are Monday and Tuesday, March 25th and 26th. Priests will be available in all languages.
· Tickets for the Mother’s Day Celebration hosted by the Spanish Community’s May 11th are on sale in the Parish office.
· Women of all ages are invited to Beauty of the Soul retreat on Friday May 3rd. Dinner will be at 5:30pm followed by an inspiring talk and an intimate time with the Lord. Ladies come for a beauty treatment for the Soul. Registration is on the patio today and in the Faith Formation Office Monday through Friday.
