SUNDAY, DECEMBER 15, 2019 THIRD SUNDAY OF ADVENT
UNIVERSAL PRAYER
PRIEST: Our gracious Father sent his Son to heal and save us. We bring
our prayers to him today, with the assurance of his everlasting
mercy.
Cantor will begin with the response before lector begins
1) For Pope Francis and all who lead the Church, may the outpouring of the gifts of the Holy Spirit sanctify them for the good of the world, we sing and pray to the Lord.
2) For those who govern nations and communities, may they be blessed with the guidance of the Holy Spirit in making policies, we sing and pray to the Lord.
3) For those who are ill, mourning or suffering, may the healing presence of Jesus come upon them and give them peace, we sing and pray to the Lord.
4) For those gathered here, that in this season of Advent our merciful Father may help us grow in faith, we sing and pray to the Lord.
5) For all those who have died may they experience joy with the
Saints in Heaven, especially Loan Crawford, Linh Van Tran,
Henry Vu, Geri Cafetti, ______________, we sing and pray to
the Lord.
