SUNDAY, JUNE 24, 2018 THE NATIVITY OF

SAINT JOHN THE BAPTIST

PRIEST: Christ, the light of God, has dawned. In joyful hope, let us pray.

1. For our church, may we be a light of God’s love and compassion for the human family, we pray to the Lord.

2. For all migrant and refugee children and parents, especially those families separated from one another or indefinitely detained, and for public policy that welcomes immigrants, promotes family unity, and protects the vulnerable, we pray to the Lord.

3. For Deacon Martin Vu and all the newly ordained, may they hear God’s call to live his Word of justice and compassion in their generous service to others, we pray to the Lord.

4. For the sick of our parish, may they trust in God’s plan and experience his mercy through those who care for them, we pray to the Lord.

5. For our beloved dead, may they experience the fullness of God’s light and love, especially __________________, we pray to the Lord.

Please Read All Announcements At All Masses

Here’s what’s happening in our Parish:

· (Please read only after the 5pm Saturday and 7:30am & 9am Sunday.) Head over to the Hall for the best breakfast in town from 8am Sunday until the food is gone. The proceeds will help the Special Olympics.

· Faith Formation is on the patio taking registrations for the Vacation Bible School. This weekend is the deadline for registering.

· The Faith Formation Program is in need of Catechists. Please prayerfully consider volunteering for weekends or weekdays for Grades 1st through High School Confirmation.

· Our parish “Dining to Donate” for July will be at Applebee’s. This month’s fundraiser will be dine in only. Please join us on Sunday, July 8 through Thursday July 12 for lunch or dinner.
