OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, KING OF THE UNIVERSE

PRIEST: Trusting in God to provide for all our needs, let us turn to him in prayer.

1. For bishops and priests, may they shepherd God’s flock with wisdom and compassion, always aligning themselves with the poor and vulnerable, we pray to the Lord.

2. For all who are on the frontlines of this COVID-19 pandemic, especially our health care workers and first responders, for all who are unable to stay at home, but must work to provide for their families, may God continue to protect them and keep them in good health, we pray to the Lord.

3. For those who lack food, water, shelter and clothing, may those who have an abundance willingly share with those who have nothing, we pray to the Lord.

4. For all gathered here around the table of the Lord, nourished by God’s word and the Eucharist, may we go forth to be Christ’s hands and feet in the world, we pray to the Lord.

5. For the sick and dying in our parish family, may they be nourished and comforted by medical professionals and their caregivers, we pray to the Lord.

6. For those who have gone before us, may they take their place at the eternal feast in the kingdom of God, especially All Souls,_________ we pray to the Lord.
