SUNDAY, February 23, 2020 7th SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

PRIEST: Trusting in our compassionate God who “makes the sun rise on the bad and the good, and causes rain to fall on the just and the unjust,” let us bring our needs, and those of our world, before the Lord.

1. For our pope, bishops and all the clergy, may they be strengthened in holiness and inspired with love to carry out their ministry in joy, we pray to the Lord.

2. For leaders of nations, may they work to promote the dignity and worth of all human lives, especially those most in need of mercy and forgiveness, we pray to the Lord.

3. For all gathered here, may we listen attentively to the word of God so as to grow in wisdom and understanding, we pray to the Lord.

4. That as we make our commitment to the Pastoral Services Appeal, we may remember God’s generosity, we pray to the Lord.

5. For the sick and dying of our parish, may God bless them as they struggle to overcome the challenges before them, we pray to the Lord.

6. For all who have died, may they join all the angels and saints in giving glory to God forever, especially Dominic Daniel Sebrasky, Maria Lewis, ___________________, we pray to the Lord.
