APRIL 28, 2019 SECOND SUNDAY OF EASTER or DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY

PRIEST: As believers in Jesus’ resurrection, we gather and offer prayers for ourselves and those around us.

1) For the Church, throughout this Easter season, may we grow in grace in the light of God’s divine mercy, we pray to the Lord.

2) For world leaders, that they may have the spirit of humility to live as servant leaders, we pray to the Lord.

3) For those who are sick or suffering especially for the people of Sri Lanka, and for those unemployed, may the Lord of all hopefulness be their strength in their time of trial, we pray to the Lord.

4) For caregivers and health care providers in this faith community, may they be granted the peace and strength they need to offer comfort and healing, we pray to the Lord.

5) For those who have died, may they know our Lord’s merciful love now and forever in his presence, especially ________________, we pray to the Lord.

Here’s what’s happening in our Parish:

· Head on over to Doyle Hall for the Knights of Columbus Parish Breakfast Sunday after the 7:30am Mass until 11:30. (Please read this announcement Saturday at 5pm and Sunday at the 7:30 & 9 am Masses.)

· Divine Mercy Celebration is Today in Doyle Hall at 3pm. All are welcome.

· Ladies, it’s not too late to register in the Faith Formation office for the Women’s Beauty of the Soul Retreat May 3^rd from 5:30pm-9:30pm.

· Join us on May 4^th at the 9am Mass celebrating the Feast Day of St. Peregrine. After Mass, there will be Anointing of the Sick.

· Monthly Adoration is Saturday, May 4^th after the 8pmm Mass until before the 7:30am Mass on Sunday, May 5^th.

· Spanish Mother’s Day Event is in Doyle Hall after the 6:30pm Mass Saturday, May 11^th. Tickets must be purchased in advance in the Parish Office.

· Mother’s Day Spiritual Bouquet cards are in the back of the Church and the donation can be dropped off at the office or the collection.

Here’s what’s happening in our Parish:

· On the patio today:

We'll be selling tickets after Mass for our May 11 Mother's Day event . There is still time to get your pre-sale Adult tickets for ONLY $10.00, which we've extended through Sunday, April 28. A Child's plate is ONLY $5.00. The final day for ticket purchases will be Sunday, May 5. Tickets will NOT be sold at the event.

· Divine Mercy Celebration is Today in Doyle Hall at 3pm. All are welcome.
