SUNDAY, October 11, 2020 28TH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
PRIEST: Trusting in the Lord of life who calls us by name, let us turn to God in prayer.
1. For all members of the church, may we answer the call of the Lord in our lives to serve him and others in love and humility, we pray to the Lord.
2. For all nations that continue to be overwhelmed by the spread of the coronavirus, may they receive necessary medications and support to care for the ill, we pray to the Lord.
3. For the victims of flooding, may they find peace and wholeness in their struggle to recover, we pray to the Lord.
4. For all gathered here, may we have hope in Christ’s promises and perseverance to meet the challenges of each day, we pray to the Lord.
5. For the sick in our parish, may they know the care and compassion of God and live in dignity and comfort, we pray to the Lord.
6. For our beloved dead, may they come to dwell in the house of the Lord, especially Ray Yeomans, Roy Richards, Bao Gia Tran, Vien Van Hoang, Tu Thi Pham, Helen Crystal, Willy Tony Dendekker, we pray to the Lord.

Here’s what’s happening in our Parish:
· Representatives from St. Barbara Catholic School are here and would be happy to provide you with information regarding their school. It is a Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade school. They are offering full time instruction, following all COVID-19 safety precautions. They are currently accepting applications. Please take a moment to stop by their table and learn more about this Catholic educational opportunity.
· Our Lady of Fatima & Relics of St. Francisco, St. Jacinta & Sr. Lucia Procession & Holy Mass on Tuesday, October 13 at 5:15PM and Outdoor Bilingual Mass at 6PM.
· We will have Parish Movie Night on Tuesday, October 13 at 7PM outdoor by the grass area, bring your blanket and lawn chairs.
· First Day of in-person classes for First Holy Communion and Confirmation will be on October 13, 14 and 17. Please contact Faith Formation for more information.
· Our next Healing Mass is Monday, October 26 starting at 6:30PM with Praise and Worship, and Mass at 7PM.
· Mass of Remembrance is on Saturday, November 7th at 9AM. If you have family member who passed away in 2020 and would like to participate in our in our Mass of Remembrance. Please call Parish Office for more details before October 15.
· There will be a second collection for World Mission Sunday at all Masses the weekend of October 17-18. Thank you for your generosity.
