SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2019 22ND SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

PRIEST: With humility and trust we bring our prayers before the Lord.

1. That the church is in alignment with the humble, vulnerable, and needy of the world, we pray to the Lord.

2. That all the people of the world might yearn for the wisdom of God and seek the path of humility, we pray to the Lord.

3. That the poor, crippled, lame, and blind, whom Jesus speaks of in today’s Gospel, are met with a banquet of love, dignity, and welcome wherever they go, we pray to the Lord.

4. That Christ the physician restores those within this community who are sick or who suffer, and brings them to the fullness of life and health, we pray to the Lord.

5. That our beloved dead receive the reward of a life well spent and come to share in the fullness of Christ’s glory, especially Thinh Duc Nguyen, Tham Cao,______________________, we pray to the Lord.

Here’s what’s happening in our Parish:

· Faith Formation registration continues on weekdays 9:30am to 5pm. Classes begin the week of September 15th.

· In celebration of Labor Day the Parish and Faith Formation offices will be closed beginning Saturday, August 31st and will reopen on Tuesday, September 3rd. On Monday, September 2nd, there will be 6:30am and 9:00am Masses as usual and the Church campus will close at Noon.

· Our ongoing Catechesis series will feature The Wild Goose, Discovering a Deeper Relationship with the Holy Spirit beginning Tuesday, September 3rd and will continue each Tuesday until December 17th. Please meet in Rooms 8 and 9 in the Parish Center at 9:45am.

· Wednesday, September 4th is 24 hour Adoration. Please consider spending an hour with the Lord.

· Our Children’s Choir rehearsals will resume this month. There will be a parent’s meeting on Wednesday, September 18th, for parents of all new and returning children.
