Sunday, March 14, 2021 4TH SUNDAY OF LENT

PRIEST: In today’s gospel, Jesus assures Nicodemus, “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him.” Trusting in Christ’s desire to save and redeem, let us bring our needs and petitions before him.

1. For God’s holy church, may God raise up prophets and preachers to call his people to renewed fidelity and away from sin, we pray to the Lord.

2. For all who are caught up in the darkness of greed and violence, may the light of Christ allow charity and peace to reign in their hearts, we pray to the Lord.

3. For refugees and immigrants who find themselves far from their homeland, may they be sustained by a welcoming community, we pray to the Lord.

4. For all gathered here as we continue our Lenten journey, may our faith be strengthened and our lives transformed in Christ, we pray to the Lord.

5. For the sick of our parish, may they know the care and compassion of God and live in dignity and comfort, we pray to the Lord.

6. For our beloved dead, may they come to dwell in the house of the Lord, especially Herminia Antilla, Eileen Kraft, Maryann Prebish, Guillermo Torres Delgado, Joseph Dieu Phan, we pray to the Lord.
