SUNDAY, JUNE 2, 2019 THE ASCENSION OF THE LORD

PRIEST: Jesus calls us to be witnesses to the ends of the earth. Let us pray for the wisdom, knowledge and fidelity to fulfill this call.

1. That the church faithfully passes on all that she has been taught by Christ. We pray to the Lord.

2. That, as we approach the 75^th anniversary of the D-Day invasion, we remember the sacrifices made to keep our freedoms and pray for everlasting peace. We pray to the Lord.

3. That the victims of flooding in the Mid-West find the courage, strength and support through our Lord to begin their recovery efforts. We pray to the Lord.

4. That the sick and dying of our parish find peace and comfort in the healing hands of Jesus and their caregivers. We pray to the Lord.

5. That all who have died in faith enjoy the first fruits of heaven as we await the fullness of God’s kingdom, especially Wady Hamon, Joseph Phung Tran, Joseph Hien Le, Paul Sai Nguyen ________________. We pray to the Lord.

Here’s what’s happening in our Parish:

· On the Patio today:

1. Raffle tickets for Holy Spirit Feast Day Celebration

2. Youth Ministry Food Sales

3. A3M Marrow Donor Drive

· Our priests will be on the annual Diocesan Retreat from June 3^rd until June7th . Father Dinh Pham will be celebrating the daily 6:30 and 9 am masses while they are gone.

· Eucharistic Adoration for the month of June is Tuesday, June 4^th after the 9am Mass until before the 6:30am Mass Wednesday, June 5^th.

· Plan to attend our Corpus Christi Retreat on Thursday, June 20^th beginning with Dinner, talks in both English and Vietnamese and ending with Adoration and Procession on Saturday, June 22^nd at 4pm ending with the 5pm Mass.

· Parish summer hours are Monday thru Friday 9am to 5pm.

· And last but not least we invite you to join us for fun, food and more as we celebrate Holy Spirit Feast Day next Sunday from 8:30am until 8:30pm.
