SUNDAY, January 24, 2021 THIRD SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

PRIEST: Knowing that our God’s compassion is from of old and his love is never ending, let us confidently place before him our needs and our petitions.

1. For God’s holy church, may it carry out the mission of the earliest disciples by proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ and searching for the lost, we pray to the Lord.

2. For leaders of nations, may they work together to safeguard basic human rights for all people from conception to natural death, we pray to the Lord.

3. For those who are imprisoned by addiction, through the grace of God may they be freed from illness of body, mind and soul, we pray to the Lord.

4. For all gathered here, may we hearken to Jesus’s call for ongoing conversion and ever-deepening belief in the gospel, we pray to the Lord.

5. For the sick of our parish, may they know the care and compassion of God and live in dignity and comfort, we pray to the Lord.
