PRIEST: Let us raise our prayers up to the God of mercy and compassion.

1. The month of April is dedicated to Child Abuse Prevention Awareness, may the Holy Spirit guide Church leaders as they promote justice and healing for victims and survivors of abuse, we pray and sing to the Lord.

2. May all civic leaders act in ways that show their commitment to the protection of all, especially children and young people, we pray and sing to the Lord.

3. May we who are gathered here be given the grace to forgive those who have wronged us, we pray and sing to the Lord.

4. May all who are sick and those who have no one to pray for them be comforted in God’s caring love, we pray and sing to the Lord.
