SUNDAY, JULY 18, 2021 16TH SUNDAY OF ORDINARY TIME

PRIEST: With confidence and faith in the everlasting love and mercy of our Good Shepherd, let us place our needs before the Lord.

1. For all those who are called upon to shepherd the church of God, may they tend to their people with humility and wisdom, we pray to the Lord.

2. For elected officials, may they work to promote unity among all people and to banish the scourge of racism and prejudice, we pray to the Lord.

3. For the oppressed who hunger and thirst for righteousness, may their voices be heeded by those in positions of power and authority, we pray to the Lord.

4. For all members of this parish community, may we grow in faith, hope and love as we seek to follow the path of Jesus, we pray to the Lord.

5. For the sick of our parish and their caregivers, may they find strength and comfort in Jesus the Savior, we pray to the Lord.

6. For those who have died, may they celebrate everlasting life in Christ Jesus, especially Baby Ryder Pham, Raymond Giap Hoang, Susan Robb, Javier Lucio we pray to the Lord.

Here’s what’s happening in our Parish:

· A big THANK YOU to all who participated in the first week of Summer Fun-Fest event! It was wonderful to see everyone! A special thank you to our Knights of Columbus for hosting the first event. Please remember to join us again on Monday, July 19 at 6PM and the next following Mondays. Activities include great food, entertainment, and fun times with our Parish Community. Main courses will be provided, and we ask each of you to please bring a side dish or dessert of your choice to share! All are welcome!

· The Knights of Columbus are happy to announce that we will be restarting our Parish Breakfasts beginning on Sunday, July 25th. Breakfast will be served after the 8:00 and 9:30AM Masses with the same menu as before.

· There will not be healing mass for the month of July and August. Our next Healing Mass will be on Monday, September 13.
