SUNDAY, AUGUST 25, 2019 21ST SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

PRIEST: We gather together in faithfulness to offer our prayers and petitions to the Father.

1. That the church be a sign and symbol of the inclusivity of the kingdom of God, we pray to the Lord.

2. That the nations of the world come together to provide for the needs of refugees and those who are displaced from their homes by natural disasters, we pray to the Lord.

3. That all gathered here have the strength to embrace the radical hospitality of the kingdom of God and to live as kingdom people, we pray to the Lord.

4. That those suffering from illness, both mental and physical, feel the compassion of our Savior through the kindness of their caregivers, we pray to the Lord.

5. That those who have died find Jesus welcoming them in heaven with loving arms, especially Lois Ann Jennings and Diana Lynn Waller_______________________, we pray to the Lord.

· The Knights of Columbus Parish Breakfast is tomorrow (read on Saturday) or today (read on Sunday 7:30 & 9 Masses). Come to Doyle Hall for good food and good company.

· Faith Formation registration is in Rooms 7, 8, and 9 in the Parish Center today from 10am to 5pm.

· In celebration of Labor Day the Parish and Faith Formation offices will be closed beginning Saturday, August 31st and will reopen on Tuesday, September 3rd. The Church campus will be closed at Noon on Monday, September 2nd. There will be 6:30am and 9am Masses as usual.
