SUNDAY, July 19, 2020 16TH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
PRIEST: Trusting in the action of the Holy Spirit to intercede for us, let us bring our prayers before the Lord
1. For those who exercise the ministry of preaching, grounded in the life-giving word of God, may they speak words of compassion and hope, we pray to the Lord.
2. For those who work in the judicial branch of government, in wisdom and mercy may they work for justice while protecting the dignity of all, we pray to the Lord.
3. For those fleeing from violence, war, disease and poverty, may they find shelter, support and safe passage, we pray to the Lord.
4. For those receiving the Easter sacraments this weekend, may they fully embrace the special graces of God’s holy love, we pray to the Lord.
5. For the sick of our parish, that they may find peace and healing in the love of our Lord and in their caregivers, we pray to the Lord.
6. For our beloved dead, may they come to dwell in the house of the Lord, especially, Maria Duc Thi Nguyen,______ let us pray to the Lord.
