UNIVERSAL PRAYER
PRIEST: Trusting that God is attentive to the cries of his people, let us offer our prayers.
1) That our church may be a family of faith, bound together by Jesus’ spirit of humble service, we pray to the Lord.
2) That all peoples of the world may be united in their common pursuit of God’s justice and peace, we pray to the Lord.
3) That, in our compassion, we may lift up those mired in the depths of illness, addiction, and despair, we pray to the Lord.
4) That families in crisis may find joy in their life together through the healing presence of Christ, we pray to the Lord.
5) That our beloved dead may be welcomed into God's heavenly presence with the saints and angels, especially, ______________, and ______________, we pray to the Lord.
