SUNDAY, JULY 7, 2019 4TH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

PRIEST: In today’s gospel, Jesus sends out the seventy-two to proclaim, “The kingdom of God is at hand.” Let us pray for the seed of God’s kingdom to continue to take root in the world.

1. That missionaries of the church proclaim the kingdom of God to all they meet, while also listening to, learning from, and growing alongside the people they serve, we pray to the Lord.

2. That God’s kingdom of justice, peace, and mercy continue to grow throughout the world, we pray to the Lord.

3. That those who live in the darkness of sin might hear the good news that the kingdom of God is at hand and receive the grace to labor for this kingdom, we pray to the Lord.

4. That the love of Christ and his Church bring healing and relief to the sick of our parish, we pray to the Lord.

5. That our beloved dead experience the joy of the Heavenly kingdom, especially Eugene Branley, David McClure, ___________________, we pray to the Lord.

· Join us for the DVD Series True Reformers, Saints of the Catholic Reformation that will begin Tuesday morning, July 9^th after the 9am Mass in Rooms 8 & 9.

· The Annual Respect Life Baby Shower is next weekend July 13^th & 14^th. Please bring donations of baby items. Cash is also welcome.

· Holy Spirit ministry volunteers are invited to a Volunteer Appreciation Dinner on Friday, July 19^th from 5pm to 7pm. Please RSVP to the Parish Office.

· Mark your calendar for Backyard Theology on Thursday, July 25^th. Dinner provided by the Vietnamese community and the English talk by Father Wayne.
