SUNDAY, JUNE 9, 2019 PENTECOST SUNDAY

PRIEST: Blessed with the gifts of the Holy Spirit, we bring our prayers to the Lord.

1. For Church leaders, may the Holy Spirit bless and strengthen them in their pastoral duties, we pray to the Lord.

2. For world leaders and for leaders of this community, may the Lord of all creation give them a spirit of nurturing for the common good, we pray to the Lord.

3. For those gathered here today, may the gifts the Lord longs to give us, open our hearts and enliven our faith, we pray to the Lord.

4. For the newly confirmed, who have received the fullness of God’s Spirit, that they give witness to Christ by lives built on faith and love, we pray to the Lord.

5. For all those who are sick and for those who care for them, may the healing touch of God transform their lives, we pray to the Lord.

6. For our beloved dead, may they be welcomed into the heavenly kingdom, especially Ann Pacitti, Tanya Doan, David Gonzales, Maria Vendange,_______________, we pray to the Lord.

Here’s what’s happening in our Parish:

· Father’s Day Spiritual Gift Cards of a novena of Masses are in the back of the Church. What a blessed gift for your father deceased or living for Father’s Day. Please put the offering envelope in the collection or drop it off at the Parish Office.

· If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a Catholic or are a Catholic in need of the two Sacraments of Confirmation and Holy Communion, English sessions begin July 7^th at 3pm in Room 7 or July 11^th at 7pm in Room 7

· Plan to attend our Corpus Christi Retreat on Thursday, June 20^th beginning with Dinner, talks in both English and Vietnamese and ending with Adoration and Procession on Saturday, June 22^nd at 4pm ending with the 5pm Mass.

· Parish summer Office hours are Monday thru Friday 9am to 5pm.
