UNIVERSAL PRAYER

PRIEST: We humbly bring our needs and desires to the Lord, asking him to hear and answer us, his children, who depend on him for all things.

1) For God’s holy Church, may God’s mercy and justice create in us lives of humility and dependence upon his love, we pray to the Lord.

2) For world leaders, may God give them a renewed respect for the dignity of life from conception to natural death as they support laws to protect the most vulnerable, we pray to the Lord.

3) For the sick, may God provide healing in mind, body and soul, we pray to the Lord.

4) For those of us gathered here and for those we love, may the Holy Spirit give us the grace to grow in humility and love of neighbor, we pray to the Lord.
