SUNDAY, JULY 21, 2019 16TH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

PRIEST: Through the intercession of Mary and Martha let us bring our needs before the Lord.

1. That the church embraces the charisms of Mary and Martha in contemplation and in active service, we pray to the Lord.

2. That societies all over the world support education opportunities for all of their people regardless of gender, race, or class, we pray to the Lord.

3. That those who are overcome by burdens and anxieties hear the voice of the Lord inviting them to rest in his love, we pray to the Lord.

4. That the sick and dying of our parish be comforted and strengthened in the loving arms of Jesus, we pray to the Lord.

5. That our beloved dead sit this day at the feet of Jesus, especially __________________, we pray to the Lord.

Here’s what’s happening in our Parish:

On the Patio today (Sunday only):

1. Young Adult Ministry Food Sale

· Extra Ordinary Ministers of Holy Communion training will be Tuesday, July 23^rd at 6:45pm in the sacristy. Please consider helping at the Mass you regularly attend.

· Dine-Out at Rubio’s Coastal Grill on Brookhurst in Fountain Valley Wednesday, July 24^th from 10am-9pm. 30% of the proceeds from your meal will be donated to Our Lady of Grace Pastoral Center. Bring flyer from the bulletin.

· Mark your calendar for Backyard Theology on Thursday, July 25^th. Dinner provided by the Vietnamese community and the English talk by Father Wayne. Please RSVP to Faith Formation office.

· If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a Catholic or are a Catholic in need of the two Sacraments of Confirmation and Holy Communion, English sessions have begun on Sundays at 3pm in Room 7 or on Thursdays at 7pm in Room 7.

· Holy Spirit Peace and Justice will host the United Way Homeless 101 Workshop on Wednesday, July 31, 6:30pm in Doyle Hall Rooms 1, 2, and 3. Light refreshments will be served. Men’s socks and underwear will be gladly accepted for SHIP and other local charities.
