SUNDAY, DECEMBER 22, 2019 FOURTH SUNDAY OF ADVENT
UNIVERSAL PRAYER
PRIEST: As we await the fulfillment of God’s kingdom, we bring our
prayers and concerns for the world, the Church and ourselves
before our God.
Cantor will begin with the response before lector begins
1) For our Holy Father, our bishops and all who exercise authority in the Church as they continue inspiring us to walk in the ways of the Lord, we sing and pray to the Lord.
2) For governments and world leaders, may the Advent message of hope inform and direct their decisions and actions, we sing and pray to the Lord.
3) For all who have turned away from the Church, may God renew their faith, we sing and pray to the Lord.
4) For all of us as we journey through this season of Advent, may the Spirit open our hearts to an even greater relationship with Christ, we sing and pray to the Lord.
5) For all those who have died may they experience joy with the
Saints in Heaven, especially Khuong Khoa Nguyen, Esther Gomez,
Tan Van Tran______________, we sing and pray to
the Lord.
