PRIEST: God knows our joys, hopes and fears. In complete trust, we

bring our needs and prayers before him.

1) For the Church, drawn from all nations and languages to proclaim the fidelity and praise of the Lord to all peoples, we pray to the Lord.

2) For civic leaders, may the Lord bless them with skills and talents necessary to care for the communities they serve, we pray to the Lord.

3) For all who are sick, may Christ the healer bring his restorative touch to their lives, we pray to the Lord.

4) For all of us gathered here, may our faith in our loving Father be nurtured through the blessings we receive, we pray to the Lord.

5) That our beloved dead may be welcomed into God's heavenly

· (Please read at the Masses until the 12pm Mass) Today is Respect Life Sunday when Christians and Clergy are lining sidewalks across America in peaceful, prayerful and public demonstration of our appreciation for the LIFE God has given us. Please join us from 3pm to 4pm at the corner of Euclid Street and Warner Avenue to form the annual Fountain Valley Life Chain. Confirmation students will receive service hours for their participation. Thank you in advance and look forward to seeing you there.

· Holy Spirit Council of the Knights of Columbus, the largest Catholic Fraternal organization in the world, and the strong right arm of the Church, will be conducting a Membership Drive next weekend Oct. 12th and 13th .

· Our annual Vocations Banquet is on Saturday, November 9. Tickets are on sale in the Parish Office.
