Over the two days, delegates explored a wide range of issues affecting young people today from youth unemployment and financial insecurity, to mental health support in low-income and crisis-affected areas. They also examined how access to education and technology shapes opportunity and discussed modern challenges such as cyberbullying, online exploitation and the importance of digital citizenship.
Our pupils impressed with their well-researched speeches, and thoughtful debates, showcasing their deep understanding of international issues.
Congratulations to Zakarya and Abdullah who achieved Best Delegate awards, as well as Maria, Isla and Arham who were given ‘Honourable Mentions’ for their excellent contributions as delegates.
For those interested in getting involved in the MUN we are delighted to announce that pupils have been invited to sign up to the DCMUN XVII Conference which runs on the 13-15th November and is open to all pupils, even those not currently in the CCA.
