Each morning during registration, students across Key Stages 3 and 4 engaged in a series of interactive activities to deepen their understanding of road safety. These included live Kahoot! and Blooket quizzes tailored to each year group, a digital maze challenge using classroom boards, and the use of the Parking Jam 3D app to reinforce road awareness and problem-solving skills in a fun, relatable way. All students were invited to design a digital road safety poster to raise awareness among their peers.
The week concluded with a specially produced road safety video, prompting further reflection and meaningful tutor group discussions about the importance of making safe choices as pedestrians, passengers, and future drivers.
We would also like to take this opportunity to remind all parents to drive with care and patience around the school site. Please observe the speed limits, avoid using mobile phones while driving, and remain vigilant at all times, particularly during drop-off and pick-up. Your actions set a powerful example for our students and play a vital role in keeping our community safe.
Thank you to all staff and students for their active participation. We also encourage families to continue reinforcing these important messages at home. Through shared effort, we can help embed lifelong habits that promote safety and responsibility on the roads.
