Principal's Pen

I would like to dedicate this newsletter to our entire school community during what will have been a difficult week for many of us. It was reassuring to see our pupils returning to school on Wednesday, after we were closed on Tuesday, eager to be back with their friends and teachers.

I would like to say a huge thank you to all of the teachers and support staff who have worked to care for our pupils this week - particularly in the latter stages of it. The Doha College community is one that I am immensely proud of and I am constantly reminded of the lengths that the community will go to to support one another.

For any parents who may find it useful, this article here provides some really useful advice for helping children cope with a traumatic event.
